Develop partnerships between schools and other partners at the local level

Encourage students to eat the healthier food in the school lunch program

Incorporate more physical activity into the school day

Help students take what they learn in school around nutrition and physical activity and incorporate it in their home life

Who Should Attend:

The Promising Practices Exchange is an inclusive event open to all who implement physical activity, nutrition and food security programs in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, Oakland, San Francisco, San Mateo, Solano, Sonoma, and Santa Clara counties including but not limited to:

Community-Based Organizations

Community Health Leaders

Funded and Non-Funded SNAP-Ed / CalFresh Partners

Local Health Department Staff and Subcontractors
